Kitchen/Dining Room- DONE

What are we going to do with ourselves when we don't have anymore house projects to do? I'm not sure but I am so excited to find out! We still need to paint the laundry room and install new trim then the inside will be DONE!! We still have a few "minor" touch ups on the outside but nothing too exciting!

I'm guessing we will start on the laundry room this weekend! Looking forward to it!!

Next...

Is the Kitchen!! We are not doing to much in here... only painting and new trim/door. Matt had already ripped out the trim/door before I got to take a picture. We have a dumpster in our driveway from the roof so we took advantage of this and started ripping out the kitchen.

We are ALMOST done!!! (Then I'm sure it will be time to move again) :)

New Roof

We got a new roof on our house! They finished it up this morning! This is the ONE project that we did not do. It looks SO great!!

Family Room...

We finally put the finishing touches on the Family Room (still have to hang the new ceiling fan) but it's done!!! I love the way it came out!! Now we can shoot pool again!!

More than 1/2 the way done....

Since the Family room is SO big and we have so much stuff in there we are doing it in 2 sections. The first one (largest) is done. We painted the paneling, new trim, painted the ceiling and hung crown molding. I'm so happy with the way it has turned out so far. We plan to work on the remaining area over the next 2 weekends!!

Family Room

Well since Jacob is now 6 weeks old, we thought it was about time to start a new project. Our next fun project is our Family Room. We are hoping to ring in the new year tonight with a paint brush!

I can't wait to see our updated room!!

Bathroom finally finished

Matt got a lot of work done last weekend but didn't get the bathroom finished until this weekend! (The shower was usable all week though) As you can see the bathroom looks SO much better! Once again, Matt has done a wonderful job!

We ripped out the fake wallpaper walls and finished the drywall.

We used the same vanity, mirror, etc.
Matt installed a new door, new trim and new flooring. I am SO happy to not have carpet in the bathroom anymore!

We put textured paint on the walls!!

I am VERY happy that this project is done. We are pretty much done for a bit! We had to special order the linen closet door so once that comes in (hopefully this week) Matt will install that!

Now we can put ALL of the tools back in the basement and I can get the house cleaned up and will be ready for the Little One to come! I just need a few hours on Sunday to get the house picked up (and our NEW Maid comes on Monday Morning!!) and I will be ready for the baby to come!!

We can't stop!!

So here I sit 38 weeks pregnant and very ready to meet our new son. So what do we do.... start a new remodel project (well Matt & his dad started it) Yesterday they thougt that the Full bathroom needed to be re-done. We had planned to just replace the door and trim (for now) but they had other plans.

See the ugly carpet, door and wood trim...... that has been removed.

They vanity and toliet also had to be removed to install the new flooring

Let's not stop there... see the ugly fake walls that are wallpaper-- well that is ugly so lets remove them too!

So now we have a full bathroom that has been completely stripped down except a shower. We only have 1 full bathroom so needless to say- They have to get it done quickly so I can take a shower!

They are hoping to have the bathroom usable by tonight (if not finished) and completely finished by tomorrow! Matt is off work tomorrow and his dad's flight home is at 5pm so they will have a few hours to work on it in the morning before heading to the airport!!

Hopefully I will have some more pictures to post of the finished product by tomorrow and will be able to post those before I can post new baby pictures! As ready as I am to have the baby- I want my bathroom finished first!

Our NEW Bathroom

Matt put the finishing touches on the bathroom this weekend! I'm SO happy to have it done!

We have a few smaller projects to finish up then we will be done! We have 2 more doors to switch out to the 6 panel white ones and finish the trim in the hall and full bath! The kitchen/dining room could use a coat of fresh paint too! These are easy projects compared to what we have been doing!

I can't wait for the day that I don't have to step over a drill or nail gun to walk through the house! But then I guess we will have to step over baby toys (that will be much better!!)
